MEDICAL OPINION COMPLIMENT SLIP

LETTER FROM HEATH HOUSE HOSPITAL dated June 1999

INDEX The problems before the flood January to June 1998 The telephone call life in hospital The problems AFTER My Retirement    My current medical debacle

As my Practice had been “open” I would now have to be “Off Sick” from June 11th to a date in November when I would be fully retired and that there would be NO financial penalty.

However a debt of £4500 had been raised and I was ordered to pay that sum in total immediately and I had to borrow this money from my sister.

This is when she said Dr A MEANT WELL and she refused to help me. She was his senior Medical Partner for 20 years.

(She has since said that she did not know what to do, conveniently forgetting that she saw Dr A EVERY WORKING DAY at that time and could ask him about her brother.)

My final pension was also reduced because of this.

Then an Inland Revenue collector called, at my house, one day in 1999 asking for settlement of unpaid Tax . He mentioned a figure well over £10k.  I forget the real figure but I collapsed in tears in front of him and he, after making sure I was OK, cancelled the debt, I believe, as I heard no more.

Dr A said or did nothing. YET on 4th June 1998 Dr A wrote this and yet I was NOW expected to deal with the threat of bankruptcy having seen the practice I worked SO HARD for since January, destroyed completely AND ALL OUT OF MY CONTROL.

from the Medical Opinion  (scroll up a bit) AN YET Dr A told me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING apart from in that paragraph on June 4th 1998.
