I received an appointment with the Psychiatrist sometime on March 20th. I rang to change the appointment and was given 12.00 pm Friday 13th February 2009.

An omen I should not have ignored.

I went and saw Dr X to ask if THIS appointment was for my suicide attempt before Christmas now telling him what Dr B*******a had said. He listened to a milder repeat of my threat to kill myself because of how the NHS was treating me.

10th FEBRUARY 2009

I received an appointment for the Clinical Psychologist for the next day at 10.00 am.

The letter was dated February 2nd 2009 so had taken 8 days from inception to my door.

If the same time scale existed in 1998 then as the Medical Opinion was dated 4th June 1998 it would not have arrived until 12th June 1998,

The day I was admitted to hospital at 09.00 am. I would then have received/read the letter AFTER I had been forcibly hospitalised.

AND then there was the attached Compliment slip.

I rang to confirm my attendance, as instructed on the letter, and so THAT would have been noted by the receptionist.

11th FEBRUARY 2009

77 minutes with the psychologist and the same result. ie There is NO treatment and I need answers to enable me to move on. She seemed to understand and rather than be in a patient/professional relationship she seemed to treat me in a professional/professional way.
But the whole thing has been made so much worse by the very fact I had to talk about THIS AGAIN.

AND I still have the other appointment on Friday 13th at 12. 00 about which the psychologist seemed confused. She seemed curious as to why I have had SO many appointments and so little done.

13th FEBRUARY 2009

It was Dr Ballasurryia SO I asked her about her letter that she promised she would write saying that I had been badly mistreated by the NHS and deserved compensation.

SHE INTERRUPTED ME saying something like "That is as maybe BUT you NEED TO MOVE ON" She asked about the further treatment offered by the Clinical Psychologist and I said that there was NONE as far as I was aware. I asked her AGAIN about the letter and she AGAIN interrupted and said that I NEEDED TO MOVE ON.

I tried to tell her that I want ANSWERS and NEED to close the chapter of my life called Dentistry. She said something and I could control my anger no more, said something like "it seems you wish for me to kill myself" and left.

I walked about outside with my heart POUNDING and my left arm going tingly. CRYING my eyes out.

I tried to convey my apologies to the receptionist to discover that Dr Ballasurryia had REFUSED TO SEE ME.

SO far I have had THREE appointments with the Mental Health Teams in Neath since and including December 23rd 2008.

And so far NO FURTHER TREATMENT

I went to Castle Surgery straight after the appointment to ask to see a doctor. I was in tears and extremely fragile. I was offered an appointment with Dr Kahan the lady who started all this. I asked for a receptionist to go in with me, as a chaperone but this seemed to be impossible.
The ONLY other doctor I could see was Dr Lewis who told me the last time I saw him, the only time I have seen him, that some things will never be resolved and it was time for me to move on. Again I asked for a chaperone but this was not possible

I made a conscious decision to try to go home and if I died then so be it

I had to ring on the following Monday for an appointment with Dr X
